Tangazo is a meeting place where we share ideas and explore efforts to improve our human conditions and quite simply make our lives better. All are welcome, none will be judged, but all are challenged to look beyond ourselves and our notions of how others think about issues of cultural, political and social significance. We are building bridges of communication between the many groups that make up the St. Louis Metropolitan Region by sharing and reflecting on the stories and lives of a diverse group of guests.

You might have noticed that for the last several weeks, our focus on the Kdhx podcast Tangazo, has been on the November 8th midterm elections.
I believe these upcoming midterm elections, to be the most critical elections, in my lifetime!
The phrase “lying politicians,” doesn’t apply here to Republican candidates, who are for the most part telling the nation upfront, just who they are and the real danger they will pose to our American democracy.
A wise person once said, “When people show you who they are, you should believe them.”
Tim Person, the host for this episode of the KDHX podcast Tangazo, also believes that American democracy is threatened, by right-wing MEGA candidates.
Social justice activists Reverend Stephanie T Wilkins from Houston Texas and community organizer, Alicia D Smith, of Minneapolis, are Tim’s guests for this week's discussion on the importance of African American voters showing up at the polls, on November the 8th.
Learn what these two dynamic African American women are doing in their respective communities, to help mobilize black voters, for what most of us believe to be, the most important midterm elections in our lifetimes.
